Caesarian Section. Bit like having an organ removed. Except instead, they cut into your organ, yank a tiny human out of it, then sew you up and expect you to manage looking after the human overnight without your partner there

I had a Category 3 "priority" C-Section. So neither elective nor emergency. The consultant wanted to get baby Emmeline out within 48 hours of our scan due to her being small and in a frank breech position.
